When a family MAN dies without a will, the WIDOW'S SHARE is ONLY 1/3rd of the estate which includes the following:
The LEGITIMATE CHILDREN (including boys and girls) are eligible to receive 2/3rd of the FATHER'S Inheritance.
Children Excluded from SUCCESSION RIGHTS in India include the following:
1. ILLEGITIMATE CHILDREN
2. CHILDREN CONCEIVED BEFORE MARRIAGE (out of an act of FORNICATION)
3. CHILDREN conceived out of SHAM SECOND MARRIAGES
