The person believed to have been Indrani Mukerjea’s first husband has denied having married her.

Guwahati-based advocate Bishnu Prasad Choudhury, son of a medical officer, admitted on Sunday that he had an affair with Pari Bora – Indrani’s maiden name – briefly in 1986.
“But we never married at the Kamakhya Temple, as has been reported or discussed,” he told a local Assamese TV channel at his residence in the city’s Ulubari locality.
Kamakhya is a popular place for solemnising Hindu marriages in Assam.
“She was in Cotton College and I was in the University Law College. Our relationship was like those of other young people during college days. It was for a very brief period, three-four months before she was sent to Shillong (100 km south of Guwahati),” Choudhury said.
The University Law College was in the Cotton College complex then.
He denied any knowledge of Pari having been sexually assaulted at home, as has been reported via her associates in Mumbai. At least she never mentioned it, he added.
“I heard she used to meet a Bengali man while studying in Lady Keane College (Shillong). I hear now that his name was Siddhartha Das,” Choudhury said.
The advocate also said he was willing to cooperate with Mumbai police with anything related to the Sheena Bora murder case, though “I am not remotely connected”.
Choudhury hoped his past would not affect the bonding he enjoys with his family.

The revelation of the year -- 1986 -- of his relationship with Indrani somewhat attests Mikhail Bora's claim that he was born in 1990, a year after Sheena. Mikhail is Indrani's son from, as per the birth certificate he handed over to the police, Siddhartha Das.
